A. DELIVERY OF ORDERS

When you click to make a purchase with us legal obligations arise and your right to refund of monies charged to your credit card or paid in any other way agreed by us, are limited by our terms & conditions. You must not make any purchase through this site unless you understand and agree all our terms and conditions. Once payment is made for the purchase, it is deemed that you have read and understood the terms and conditions for such purchase. If you have any queries please contact us before making any purchase for any service through this website.

Our cutoff time for dispatch off orders is 12:00 Monday to Friday (Public Holidays excluded). Orders received after the applicable cutoff time will be dispatched the next working day.

Every effort is made to effect shipment of your order timeously however unforeseen circumstances may cause delays. Should we be faced with such an occurrence we will contact you to provide a revised shipping schedule.

Parktown Stores warrants that we will dispatch your order once payment clears our account via your chosen delivery method. We cannot however guarantee that delivery will take place as per your selected delivery method as we make use of external service providers. We will not accept liability for any delays / losses caused due to the actions of our delivery service providers.

It is the customers responsibility to ensure that a valid and correct delivery address is provided.

International customers must contact us to obtain a quotation for international delivery. None of the standard delivery options on our website are valid for international delivery.

Postnet R300 (delivery to closest Postnet for collection) 2-4 working days

Collection: Arrange to collect your own order (we will notify you once your order is ready for collection)

Courier Guy Gauteng: R150 (not valid to townships, farms or plots) 1-2 working days delivery to door

Courier Guy Rest of South Africa: R225 (not valid to townships, farms or plots) 2 – 3 working days delivery to door

Postnet R120 (delivery to closest Postnet for collection) 2-4 working days

PEP Paxi R130 (delivery to closest PEP for collection) 4-7 working days

PUDO R100 (delivery to closest PUDO locker for collection) 2-4 working days

Collection: Arrange to collect your own order (we will notify you once your order is ready for collection)

Free Delivery:
For orders over R1500

Orders over R1500 will be dispatched free of charge with the Courier Guy (door to door delivery) for customers who live in cities or towns or with PUDO (collection at your closest PUDO locker) for customers who live in townships, farms or plots.

NB. Free Delivery does not apply to school bags, German Parkas, Suits and Black Friday specials.

B. RETURNS & EXCHANGES

NON-DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS:

Products that are not defective may be returned for a refund, exchange or credit within 30 days of purchase subject to the following conditions:

a. The product must be in its original condition (unused, unwashed with all tags intact).

b. Evening wear, underwear may not be returned.

c. Shipping costs are not refunded and all subsequent shipping costs required to facilitate an exchange or refund are for the account of the customer. Shipping costs for refunds or exchanges must be prepaid.

d. A copy of the original invoice may be required.

e. We do not refund purchases where payment is made by a third party (eg. payments made by a trust fund, employer, government agency).

f. Refunds will be made via the original payment method. Credit or debit card payments will be refunded back on to your card and will not be paid in cash. We undertake to process card refunds timeously however funds may take between 3 and 10 working days to reflect into your bank account.

g. Should you ship items for refund or exchange please include a note describing the reasons behind a request for exchange or refund. Please include as much detail as possible (contact details / return address / banking details for refunds).

h. The costs incurred by Parktown Stores to deliver an order that qualifies for free delivery will be deducted from any refund due should the customer elect to return all or part of the order.

RETURNS OF PRODUCTS DEEMED DEFECTIVE:

a. Products deemed to be “defective” may be returned for assesment subject to the manufacturer / distributors terms and conditions.

b. Products warranties are as per the manufacturer / distributors terms and conditions.

c. For details on the warranties offered for a specific product please contact us.

d. Clothing and footwear are covered against defective workmanship only. Damages caused by accident or wear and tear are not covered. We can however arrange for repairs to be carried out by our in-house tailor or by the manufacturer at a cost.

e. Products returned will be assessed in order to determine if the product qualifies for repair, replacement or refund. Assessment will be carried out within a reasonable time frame.
The decision of the assesor will be final.

f. A copy of the original invoice may be required.

g. Shipping costs will be refunded at management discretion.
